This november abkco are set to reissue the rolling stones 1969 album let it bleed as a 50th anniversary box set.
I m trying to match my 1969 mono copy of let it bleed.
The stones closed out their 1960s studio output with let it bleed a raunchy collection of new material which carried their earlier return to their blues roots on beggars banquet several steps further in addition to bridging the departure and subsequent death of brian jones and the arrival of his successor mick taylor.
On side 2 lhs of label it has p 1969 and below mirage music.
On side 1 lhs it has biem ncb and below gema.

The three first versions could be found either with a mono or a stereo lp inside.
This set will feature newly remastered by bob ludwig stereo and mono versions of the album on both vinyl and sacd.
To be noted is that the same cover was used for mono and stereo lp s in 1969 and 1970.
The collection also includes a reproduction of the 1969 seven inch mono single of honky tonk women you can t always get what you want in a picture.
The nearest match is the decca version but my record label is slightly different.
Then again the cover of let it bleed is another story.

It s in great condition including the poster.
But in his mono remastering bob ludwig has come as close as is humanly possible to letting us hear what a full mono remix of the album might sound like without actually remixing it.
